There are roughly 1,454 miles of trails described in the 30th edition of the AMC White Mountain Guide, to hike them all is considered tracing, or redlining as it used to be known as. This project will feature photographs taken along the way, from all the trails to the forty-eight summits that are 4,000 feet
Took a day trip up to the White Mountains in New Hampshire to capture the foliage and wander around Franconia Notch a bit.
A 15-mile stroll through the forest, staying overnight at a shelter along the Appalachian Trail, and reaching the summit of three 4,000+ foot mountains.
Peakbagging Little Haystack (4,760′), Mount Lincoln (5,089′), and Mount Lafayette (5,249′) while trekking along the Appalachian Trail.
