1,454 Miles – White Mountain National Forest
There are roughly 1,454 miles of trails described in the 30th edition of the AMC White Mountain Guide, to hike them all is called tracing, a term used to describe hiking all the trails in a given region.
This project will feature photographs taken along the way, from all the trails to the forty-eight summits that are 4,000 feet above sea level, the shelters and campsites, backcountry scenes, beautiful waterfalls and rivers, wildlife, and everything in between.
