Madame Sherri made a name for herself designing elaborate costumes for Broadway productions. While she lived nearby, she used the “castle” to host and throw parties. Unfortunately, she fell upon hard times and the property ceased to be used. The castle was destroyed in a fire in 1962 with only the foundation and the staircase remaining.

This is an unframed 8×12 giclee print.
